Free Coaching Offer

Self esteem is something that effects all areas of our lives and as a parent if we allow ourselves to have low self esteem this mindset inevitably rubs off on our children.  Parents who have high self esteem are happy, positive, confident and so are their children.

During the month of May I am running a special SELF ESTEEM BOOSTING program.  This is a five session email program.  And I'm offering the first session absolutely free so that you can try before you buy.  If you like my style of coaching and want to carry on with the final 4 sessions simply pay 20€

That's less than 5€ per session to set you on a path to feeling great about yourself and life.

Check out Jack's Puppy Blog.

I had some information sent through to me last week about Teen Cash Machine which is an program designed for teen to set up websites to generate money for themselves.  Even though my son Jack is only 9 (soon to be ten) I thought I'd take a look.  I firmly believe the internet is the way forward for  our children and it's something I love too.  I clicked onto the video presentation which explained everything.  Very interesting.  Anyway a couple of days later I received another short video of the creators daughter (age 11) who has used the program checking out how much money she's made.  She was super excited. Jack happened to be in the room and obviously picked up on what I was watching and asked me to play it again.  I did and then I showed him the first video too.  His response was "Can I get it mum, PLEEEAASE!"

I talked it over with him and also with my husband.  We decided as he was only 9 that I would help him to create a blog and see if he enjoyed it.  The deal is if he likes it and sticks with it we will buy him the Teen Cash Machine program for his birthday in April.

He's super excited and delighted with his blog Puppy from the Pound. Please come and take a look and show your support.  http://puppyfromthepound.blogspot.com/

Thanks

Wendy

How To Raise happy and Conscious Kids

As parent, teacher or caregiver, do you ever wonder how you can really help your kids reach their highest potential?  I know I certainly do.
We have some unique challenges in our society that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and unsure on how to help our kids to be happy and healthy, inside and out.

Soaring childhood obesity rates, child/teen depression, peer pressure, academic pressure, competitive sports (and the increased rate of injury of late!), the internet and social media and their challenges, lack of sleep, feeling wiped or wired, along with violence on TV and video games. On top of all this, our teachers are being asked to do more with less, while class sizes increase!

Since giving up on our children is not an option… I am so excited to tell you about a TeleSeminar Series specifically designed for parents, teachers and caregivers called the Raising Conscious Kids TeleSummit! http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?Clk=4268131

Is Your Child A Budding Writer?

Nearly all children love stories.  Now you can encourage them to write their own stories with The Scribble Scrabble Writing Journal for Kids.

As a parent who loves reading and writing I couldn't resist this.  It's fantastic and so much fun for kids, actually for me too!

You can either download immediately or order a print copy.

You can even try before you buy.  Give it a try and see if it's something your child will enjoy.

Learning Is Supposed To Be Fun

When learning is fun it's so much easier to understand, even as an adult that's true. Because we live in Spain and my 9 year old son attends a local Catalan/Spanish speaking school I am always looking for ways to keep his English learning at a good level.  He reads lots of books and we speak in English at home but we know to keep the level high he needs more than this.  I see so many English living here who do not have a good command of the English language.

My son loves the computer, so an internet based learning program is ideal for him combined with other activities we already do.  I found a program called K5 Stars that looks so much fun and there is a free report and free trial offer available at the moment.  I knew I had to share this with you all.  I think we all like free offers now and then, especially when it helps our children.

Looks like a whole load of fun to me.

Happy Parenting.

Playtime Issues, Recorder Practice, Jigsaws and a Puppy

This week seems to have rushed by, It certainly seems to have got to Friday very quickly. I love the weekends though so I'm fine with that.

This week Jack has had a problem with a boy at school.  The boy in question told Jack he was not allowed to play with him and the rest of the kids Jack usually plays with.  Icould see this situation was really bothering my son (9).

I asked my son to keep saying this positive affirmation.  I'm a great kid and I have lots of wonderful friends.  I always have lots of people toplay with at break time.

I asked him to imagine playing his favourite games at break time with his normal friends and I also asked him to welcome in other kids.

The boy kept doing the same thing throughout the week but it had no where near the same impact on Jack or the other kids.

While Jack is at school I also affirm that jack is a great kid, he is happy and confident, he makes friends easily and he attracts wonderful friends who like him just the way he is.

I also did some role play with Jack and helped him with posture to project a positive image.  A wonderful resource and a real breakthrough in this area is Izzy Kalman's website http://www.bullies2buddies.com/

Recorder Practice

Today Jack is having a friend over for lunch.  They have a music project to complete which means they have to practice asong on the recorder this afternoon.  I have to admit I'm not looking forward to that.  I think I'll suggest they practice in Jack's room.

Jigsaws and Puppies Do Not Go Well Together!

What was I thinking?  Obviously not a lot when I decided to buy a 1000 piece Simpsons jigsaw puzzle.  Our puppy has eaten or chewed at least 20 pieces.  I'm determined to finish it today, perhaps I'll get it done whilst Jack and his friend do recorder practice.

Happy weekend wishes to you all.

Here's Lola - Our beautiful Jigsaw piece eating puppy.
