Back To School

Jack has started back at school today.  We start a little late here in Spain as we celebrate the 3 Kings which was on the 6th of January.  It's a pretty big celebration here.  We still celebrate Christmas and even though we are not Spanish we always give Jack a special present from the Kings.  He loves it as it's his special day to get an extra present.  He's been busy playing with all his new toys.  The favourites are Hot Wheels and K-nex.  He's been creating some pretty amazing constructions.  I'm very impressed.  He also got Cluedo, lego games (Ramses Pyramid) and monopoly deal (the card game).  They're all great games and he loves games time, especially when daddy plays, although daddy's game playing skills leave a lot to be desired. 

I'm making him soup for lunch (it's his favourite at the minute) and my time is all his this afternoon.  So games and cuddles here we come.

Happy New Year

I want to take a minute to wish you all a wonderful, happy, healthy and fun 2010.  Many, many people make new years resolutions at the beginning of each new year.  I would like to suggest something new for this year.  Start the year by being thankful for everything you have already.  Celebrate the amazing life you already have.  When you have celebrated every area of your life, ask!  What is it you want for the year ahead?  What will make your world even more wonderful?  Ask - And continue to celebrate those wonderful things that are already yours.
